Not usually, and on this site they are two different answers. 49 of the 125 districts tracked here take a separate fall break earlier in the autumn — the first of them starting September 21, 2026, the last November 2, 2026 — on top of the days off at Thanksgiving. A handful go the other way and call the Thanksgiving week itself a fall break — Wichita's calendar calls it a fall recess, Charleston County's and Madison's a fall break — so the dates on this page are the break that covers November 26, 2026, whatever the calendar's own word for it is.
